Chairman of Nesma United Industries ‘ Board of Directors - NUI As president of Nesma Company, he also serves as Chairman and Board member of several Nesma companies. He has overseen the company’s expansion into aviation, travel, renewable energy and public transportation.
Faisal Al-Turki holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University with a double major in Sociology and Public and Private Sector Organization. He also has a Master’s degree from the University of London in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies.

Tariq Khoshhal

Tariq Khoshhal is the CEO of Dallah Investment Holding Company. He has more than 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Tariq also led a successful turnaround and exit for AutoWorld as a CEO. He serves on the board of Cool inc., Nun Academy, Taajeer Group, Anfas Medical Company and Benchmark.

Dany Gholmie is an accomplished executive leader with a distinguished record in formulating high-impact strategies, optimizing financial performance, and driving enterprise-wide operational excellence. Known for his visionary leadership and analytical precision, he consistently delivers transformative outcomes across complex business landscapes. In his current capacity as Managing Director of Spacemaker KSA, where he orchestrated the company’s expansion into new markets and championed innovation in modular construction technologies.
His professional portfolio encompasses the successful turnaround of underperforming entities, the incubation of high-growth ventures, and the structuring of capital-efficient investment strategies.Previously, he served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Nesma United Industries, Mr. Gholmie oversaw the development and execution of integrated corporate strategies, while managing cross-functional operations to maximize organizational efficiency and strategic alignment. Mr. Gholmie currently serves on the Board of Directors of Nesma United Industries, contributing to its long-term strategic direction and governance.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Business from HULT International Business School in London, United Kingdom. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, he brings a global perspective and intercultural acumen that strengthen stakeholder engagement and business adaptability across international markets.
Eng. Shawki Gholmie

Shawki Imad Gholmie is the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Nesma & Partners, where he leads strategy; strategic planning; operating model development; digital transformation; and business development & partnerships. Shawki has an exceptional track record in driving execution and in capability-building and is currently spearheading the establishment of Nesma & Partners' Mergers & Acquisitions function and the Project Development / Public-Private Partnerships departments.
He serves as a non-executive board member for several companies including Nesma-Kent Energy Company, Nesma Contracting Company. Prior to joining Nesma & Partners, Shawki held multiple project management positions at Turner Construction in New York City, NY. Shawki holds BSc and Master degrees in Civil Engineering and Economics from Columbia University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Emory University. He is currently completing the Columbia / London Business School Executive MBA program (expected 2026).
Waleed Bamarouf

Mr. Waleed Bamarouf holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a bachelor’s degree in Law, and an Executive MBA. He also holds multiple professional qualifications, including SOCPA, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Fellowship in Business Valuation ( Taqeem), and the Saudi Accreditation Standards for Legal Practitioners (SASL).
He has delivered various training courses in accounting and audit and has extensive experience in finance, compliance, corporate governance, risk management, intellectual property, and business valuation. He currently serves as a Partner at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Auditing and Accounting. In addition, he sits on boards and nomination & remuneration committees and chair audit committees across several companies.
His industry experience includes agriculture, petrochemicals, cement, mining, construction, education, insurance, investment, Hajj and Umrah services.
Johan Brand

Johan Brand is a well-experienced and independent leadership professional. He built a career in Procter & Gamble, Pepsico and Egon Zehnder prior to his own Leadership Advisory. He is sought after for his top-level business expertise and Board/Executive advisory competence. He operates in the capacity of an independent member of several boards (committees) or as an external advisor. His focus is on making Boards and C-level leadership more effective. He advises Chairmen and Family Heads as well as guides CxOs to success.
Adriana Hoyos

Adriana Hoyos is an experienced board director, advisor, banking executive, consultant, and academic with over 25 years in AI economics, digital transformation, platform markets, tech policy, ESG, and geopolitics. She serves on the boards of Nesma United Industries, SciTheWorld, and the Anar Foundation, and is part of the Millennium Project’s Expert Panel. She has held leadership roles including CEO of the Women’s World Bank Co, executive at Citibank, and senior adviser in three U.S. presidential campaigns, as well as diplomatic posts such as Colombia’s Economic Attaché to Spain and Director of Plan Colombia for Europe. An adjunct professor at IE University and senior fellow at Harvard for over a decade, she is also an academic contributor to Google AI Labs, ELON University and the UN’s State of the Future. A frequent speaker at global forums like Davos and the UN, she holds U.S., Spanish, and Colombian citizenship, combining global perspective with deep cross-cultural expertise.
